In collaboration with Jamie Allez Carpentry & Construction and DLM Architects, Puddleduck was redesigned and reconfigured from a dated bungalow into a modern, open-plan, four-bedroom home for family living.
We were tasked with applying the external wall insulation which enhanced both the aesthetics and energy efficiency of the home, improving the visual appeal of the property but also its long-term sustainability.
The ground floor now features a generous entrance hall that flows to the rear of the house. There’s also a master suite, snug and a self-contained annex. The use of lightweight timber clad structure spanning between existing walls below blends old and new together.
Puddleduck stands as an example of how traditional homes can be revitalised into contemporary masterpieces, providing comfort and style for modern family living.
